The Italianos have left. I finally learned their names, and of course it would be around the end. Francisco and Dario. Very talkative individuals who spoke Castellano very well between the ages of 16 and 18. It was great meeting them and I now have an extra reason to go to Rome.
At a social level it is amazing seeing how similar this Mediterranean life style is to mine, maybe not at night (I like my sleep, and enjoy waking up early) but when looking at social interactions the Italian/Spanish and Latin cultures have their similarities. Though my question here would be is it due to the Italian diaspora that occurred or is it the fact that the Spanish had a major impact on the culture of the Southern Italia, having ruled it for over three centuries prior to colonizing the Americas?
The world may never now...?
